The TOP100 European CSOs have emerged as pioneers in navigating the complex landscape of sustainability, steering their organisations towards new standards in line with planetary boundaries and responding to the growing compliance demands of CSR and ESG metrics in Europe.

“This initiative aims to shine a light on the leaders who are actively shaping new standards and showcasing pioneering ambitions for corporate sustainability, demonstrating impact thinking and thought leadership”, stated Harald Neidhardt, CEO & Curator of the Futur/io Institute. “By highlighting their efforts and ambitions, we hope to inspire others to follow suit, driving positive change and creating more sustainable futures for all.”

The TOP100 European Chief Sustainability Officers represent a diverse range of industries, IKEA, Louis Vuitton, Vestas and other, underscoring the universality of the sustainability challenge, excluding oil and gas companies in an effort to encourage fast divestment from fossil fuels and resource-heavy industries.

The three winning CSO Awards /24 will be selected by a Grand Jury and celebrated at an exclusive gala ceremony in Davos, January 15, 2024.

The awards ceremony will be the fifth event held by the Futur/io Institute in Davos during the World Economic Forum annual meeting, in parallel with the annual Futur/io Executive Reception that saw its first edition in January 2019 and has since gathered influential voices from corporate sustainability and innovation.
