The Inspiration

CSR, which stands for corporate social responsibility, is considered a management concept and business approach. Companies integrate social, environmental, and economic concerns into their values, culture, and decision-making processes.

ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. These criteria are used to evaluate the operations of businesses and determine whether they are ethical, as well as profitable.

CSR holds businesses socially accountable, while ESG makes their efforts measurable.

In our next Wake-Up Call, we’re looking some of the challenges and opportunities both bring with them, and how they can best be incorporated into sustainable business models.
