Dr. iur. Abir´s passion is connecting parts of completely different worlds and to think out of the box. I have been researching exponential technologies and their potential for our societies and therefore the change needed for our global legal systems. How to govern these new developments is my main driving question. Therefore I do combine the scientific methods out of comparative law and modern futurism into a methodology for legal innovation to create more resilient and future-oriented legal frameworks and governance.
Youssef Nassef has led the adaptation workstreams under the UNFCCC since their inception. He possesses over 30 years of experience in diplomacy and international environmental policy, and is a seconded diplomat from the Egyptian Foreign Service.
While assuming progressively higher levels of leadership at the UNFCCC, he led UNFCCC support for several initiatives on adaptation. These include the inception and support for National Adaptation Programmes of Action and National Adaptation Plans; the Nairobi Work Programme – an international knowledge hub for impacts, vulnerability and adaptation; and the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage. He recently created the Resilience Frontiers initiative which applies foresight for attaining post-2030 resilience.
Bernhard Kowatsch is the Head of the Innovation Accelerator at the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), which he founded in 2015. The Accelerator has been awarded the “Best workplace for innovators” in 2021 and 2020 by Fast Company. Bernhard also was one of four finalists for Fast Company’s Innovative Leader of the Year 2021. The Accelerator sources, nurtures and scales start-ups and non-profits that disrupt global hunger. In 2021, the innovation and startup portfolio positively impacted the lives of 5.5 million h year since launch) and has raised a total of $160M of grant funding.
Christoph is splitting his time mainly between Climeworks, Negative Emissions Platform, and Risk Dialogue Foundation, working tirelessly to help better understand climate risk, develop mitigation and atmospheric carbon removal technologies and climate policy to combat the climate emergency by enabling the transition away from a fossil to a sustainable circular carbon economy.
Marc has been involved in Climate Activism for a long time by being an impactful and exponential human being. One of the first to be trained by Al Gore as a Climate Speaker he has made getting through the Climate Crisis towards Resilient Desirable Futures his life’s work. As an Advocate for the SDG’s, UN Advisor and Resilient Futurist, Social Innovation, Climate Change, Agriculture, Food, and Beverage Expert Network member of the World Economic Forum, Global Food Reformist, and Sustainable Futurist, Marc is on a mission to empower billions of global citizens to live an adaptive lifestyle of health and sustainability within planetary boundaries. As an expert on ESG, sustainable development, Marc consults for companies in their renewable transition with specialization in innovation and scale transition.
Ieva Sibilla Strupule is a Latvian born Global citizen, having lived in 6 countries. She’s a serial startup entrepreneur, advisor and speaker recognized as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum.
Ieva’s background is in Big Data Structuring, IT, Finance and Travel. She’s passionate for the future of education, circular economy and sustainability.
Tobias helps to empower companies to reach zero emissions through knowledge and technology. He personally made this his life’s mission until the problem is solved!
Being previously engaged as a founder in various ventures (also venture-backed), the founder of Global Changer learned most things the hard way and applies the skillset now in solving the client’s needs around sustainability.

The youngest to ever receive the Royal Institute British Architects honorary fellowship, she is the co-founder of Kansara Hackney Ltd, the first ISO-certified sustainable lifestyle consultancy, and CEO of Replenish Earth Ltd. Aside from being the advisor to the Economic Times of India, she’s an economist and future cities thought leader. In association with the Club of Rome and the United Nations General Assembly she has advised the Royal family of Bhutan and Past Prime Minister Jigme Thinley and Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay on the creation of an international commission on sustainable, economic growth.

He is the founder of the Fab City Research Laboratory at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia where he also is tutor in design for digital fabrication.
