Tim is a German-American author and the co-founder and co-CEO of The Business Romantic Society, a firm that helps organizations and leaders craft and implement humanist visions, platforms, and experiences in the age of machines. Previously, Tim served as CMO of NBBJ, a global design and architecture firm. From 2006 to 2013, he served as CMO of the renowned product design and innovation consultancy Frog Design.
Tim is the author of The Business Romantic (HarperCollins, 2015), which has been translated into nine languages. Tim’s writing has appeared in the Harvard Business Review, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Forbes, Fortune, Inc, Psychology Today, and Wired. He has spoken at TED, DLD, Future Day, The Economist, SXSW, Thinking Digital, and the World Economic Forum. His TED Talks — “3 Ways to (Usefully) Lose Control of Your Brand” and most recently “4 Ways to Build a Human Company in the Age of Machines” — have been viewed by nearly 2.5 million people.
