“The future needs more courage and we need a place to share our compassion and collectively enhance our curiosity in order to create as many opportunities as possible for what we call desire.”
Gerd was born in 1957 and turning 60 this year is about to open a new chapter of his life outside of the restrictions of corporate environments. He spent more than 25 years at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KgaA, a major player in the media and services business.
Apart from building a diverse range of internal learning programs and institutions–e.g. the Bertelsmann Corporate University with Harvard Business School, INSEAD, IESE and other renowned partners, he was involved in organizational development projects under the headline of ”digital transformation.”
He also was responsible for the HR function of an international division and served as Country CEO. He studied adult education, was trained as an actor and learned the virtues of ”Systems Thinking,” likely before many in the corporate world had even considered it.
